Exploring New Hair Styles

So, I have a few more weeks before the big cut, but I thought I needed to start looking at different hair styles and color options. For those of you who don’t know, I am donating 10 inches to Locks of Love. I am ready! I realize I won’t have much hair left in the back, but at this point, I don’t care! I am tired of this long hair that is neither straight nor curly, but just something in between that is far from easy to handle and most days less than flattering. Not actually sure what would be flattering at this stage in my life, but the main thing is that at least one child who has no hair left due to chemo will get something to make them feel pretty again.

These are the best styles I have found so far. And I may even choose to go back to blond, just for kicks. It’s easy to become a brunette again, if I feel it’s too much. I just think that if I’m going this short, might as well have fun with it!

Hun, I'd do the bottom right, especially the very platinum hair with the very black streaks, OOOH!!!

Thank you, Ladies! That happens to be my favorite too. : )

And I didn't think I'd ever go back to being blond again, but I guess if I'm going to make a change, might as well really make a change, right!

No, wait! I actually prefer the TOP right, but I really like the one you guys picked too. It probably would be easier for my hair ... less upkeep, you know. : )

I initially picked the top right but it's hard to tell the shape of your head, babes, and that sort of cut is very close-cropped, requiring a perfectly shaped head unless you have a hairdresser with god-like hands. The bottom right is easier to pull off, shaggy when you want it to be and so versatile. Plus the highlights are so dramatic and perfect for your personality.

Yeah, I was thinking about that too ... and I really don't know what my head does in the back! LOL! That's why I will put my trust in my dear capable hair dresser Friday afternoon at 4:15. My color appointment is for Saturday some time. She's fabulous too. Great girls both of them. : )

Thank you, Jo! I'm a little nervous, since it's been 30 years since my hair was that short, but ... it's only hair and it will grow back out, right!
